The series of standard circulating coins of the Philippines will be amended. This as the Central Bank of the Philippines has introduced a new logo. The old logo can be found on all of the standard circulating coin denominations of the Philippines. Whether the new logo will be introduced or the central bank's logo will be omitted from the coins is still unknown.
According to the BSP, the change of the design of its logo will be implemented “in phases.” How they will do this, considering they have to redesign – to some extent – the currency, will be explained in January. But change their seal, they will, after President Duterte approved the proposal this month.
