Does anyone have a copy? I'd like to know if some coins are photographed in it.

Not sure if it's the Numismatic Circular but I think it's an auction catalogue - an 1894M half sovereign and 1901M half sovereign are a couple of the coins I'm looking for.

I think it must be an auction then, I'm afraid there are no British gold in that issue of the NC.

Yes its Spink Australia sale November 1981 see below along with prices realised in Australian dollars of course.

Sadly no pictures of these.

Thanks Mal! Bit annoying - pretty sure there aren't any pictures of these coins at all then.

I have since found pictures in a book - I think the images came from Noble Numismatics.

When Spink Australia ceased, it became Spink Noble, and then Noble Numismatics.

The catalogue numbers continued uninterrupted throughout.
