The proclamation for the £2 bi-metallic coins is...
Hello there! I'm new to this site, but I'm very interested in 2 pound coins. I apologize immediately if my questions seem incomprehensible. I live in Russia and translate text using an online translator. Can you tell me if there is a website that publishes official information of the Royal Mint about the upcoming issue of coins and their description?

I have a few more questions on the subject of 2 pound coins. If someone can answer, I will be very grateful. Here is one of my questions. I would like to know about the designations of the designers on the following coins (marked - ??):
2014-Trinity House-D?E-David ???????? Eccles
2017 - The War In The Air – HDG - Henry D???????? Gray
I contacted the Royal mint with this question, but the Royal Mint Museum told me that they did not have such information. (((

This forum always has the latest information about upcomming releases first. So keep an eye on here in the different topics.

The 2014 coin 'Trinity House' was designed by Joe Whitlock Blundell and David Eccles
The 2017 coin 'War in the Air' was designed by Henry Daniel Gray.

Eurocoin, Thanks for the help!
I'd also like to know what David Eccles's middle name is?

Yes, Your messages are always accurate and for the first time I always learn about the output of coins from You. Thank You very much for this!!! But the fact is that I have compiled an electronic catalog of bimetallic coins of the British Commonwealth with a face value of 2 pounds (in Russian). It has a page with links to the acts by which coins are put into circulation. I don't have any information for the UK. Now this page looks like in the attached file.

To understand what I'm talking about, you can view the directory itself at this link https://yadi.sk/d/IPaTji6d334iCu

But I do not know if it is possible to view files from other countries on the file sharing site in Russia. (((

A lot of information. Thanks.
If you need to find the official proclamations you can check the official gazette. For example the proclamation for the 2017 coin is here.
For Falklands 2004 2 pounds here (page 343).

Thank you again for the link to the Gazette where the proclamations are published. I found proclamations concerning all 2 pound commemorative coins (in the proclamation attachment for the United Kingdom). But I couldn't find any proclamations dedicated to the issue of the new regular coin 2 pounds 1997 and coins with the new Portet Ian Rank-Broadley - 2 pounds 1998-2015. If anyone has links to these proclamations, I will be very grateful for the links.

It's possible to view it abroad too.
Nice file with a lot of information in one place. Thanks.

I looked very quickly and cannot find some coins:
- 2020 South Georgia South Sandwich - Florence Nightingale - fresh new, issued this week (and in fact will be issued in November, this week was pre-order sales).
- 2003 Falkland Islands - same as 2004 but without inscription on edge
- 2019 Jersey zoo - there are also sic coloured coins (Gorillaz and 5 others with flat metal & print).
More about these coins on this forum on Ropica dedicated specific countries (UK dependencies & South America: Falklands).

Thank you for your attention to my hobby. ))) About Your questions. 1) I don't officially update the catalog with every new change (although I do correct it for myself every time). I record its contents once a year (on my birthday). And my friends give me a paper copy of it as a gift. Therefore, it does not contain a coin issued by the Pobjoy mint (Florence Nightingale). 2) about the 2003 2 pound coin of the Falkland Islands - I found out about its existence quite recently (thanks to stef) and was very upset, because I don't know where to buy it (((((. But I will add information about it to the next edition. 3) for coins 2019 Jersey zoo - my principled position is not to include them in the catalog, because I do not recognize colored coins as "real" coins (this is my personal opinion). And if you consider that all but the gorilla - do not have a relief, I consider such actions a mockery of collectors. The truth is that I included an image of A set with colored coins, although I was dissatisfied with my post
