All Dutch circulation coins featuring King Willem-Alexander have lowercase characters ... except where uppercase would be used anyway ;)  Here is, as an example, the €1 piece, embedded from the ECB website:

As you can tell by looking at the coins from Danzig, those Fraktur and blackletter characters are almost always "mixed" (uppercase/lowercase). After all, a text in ALL CAPS looks terrible with such types. :) So you could also list all coins from Nazi Germany here. Later the nazis claimed that Fraktur was "Jewish", and switched to Antiqua, but probably because of the war they did not bother designing new coins.
