Roger Hargreaves' Little Miss series of children's books commenced publication in Sep 1981.
After his death in 1988, his son, Adam, took over the Little Miss stories. Little Miss Scary is the 31st book in the series and the first one created by Adam Hargreaves.

That's true, but have you ever seen any of the previous (alphabet / A to Z) series of 10 pence coins in circulation anyway? I have not.

Same here, but I do know a few who have had the odd letter. Then again, it was a pathetic quantity that went into circulation.

Proclamation published 12 March for £5 cupro-nickel coin.

Peter Rabbit & family

For the obverse impression Our effigy with the inscription "· ELIZABETH II · D · G · REG · F · D · 5 POUNDS ·" and the date of the year, and for the reverse a depiction of Peter Rabbit, Mrs Rabbit and three other rabbits accompanied by the inscription "'NOW RUN ALONG, AND DON'T GET INTO MISCHIEF. I AM GOING OUT.'". The coin shall have a grained edge.

The Royal Mint will later this year also release a special domed version of the coin. The first time they issue a domed coin.

From what I understand it will be curved and yes, if that is indeed the case there is a topic for such coins.

1,150th anniversary of the coronation of Alfred the Great.

Alfred the Great £5 struck to pay tribute to this visionary monarch who built the foundations for Britain's future. The coin is inspired by a priceless Anglo-Saxon relic, the Alfred Jewel, and was created by the sculptor John Bergdahl.
The cupro-nickel version has a grained edge, the silver version has the edge inscription "AELFRED MEC HEHT GEWYRCAN", which translates as 'ALFRED ORDERED ME TO BE MADE'.
