Looking for input to confirm if my identification of this is correct, and if you can comment on the condition/rarity it would be appreciated.

These coins appear to me to have been commemorate in nature as were the 5 Kori coins- issued around the time the government of India (the British) had ordered all (well almost all) mints to cease production by 1893 AD (VS 1949). These coins are found dated over a period of 2 or so years and are not easy to come across.

Just picked up one for my collection. Looks like the 2½ Kori coins were issued for only two years - VS 1949 & VS 1950. Need to check for earlier issues now since 5 Kori coins are known since VS 1946.
