Because of the lettering style i would have guessed Ghaznavid first. But those are much smaller/lighter.
Can not give a direct alternative suggestion.

Dear Anthony, I will try reading the coin which may look like Umayyad, Abd al-Malik, AE Falus, Jerash (Syria) mint (AH 65-86 / 685-705 AD).
