The last digit is not clear on this coin.
I hope it is still possible to make something of this one.

Dear maudry, the date looks like " AH 1206 ۱۲۰۶ ", Qajar, Agha Muhammad Khan (Silver Shahi), Zarb " Shiraz شیراز ". I am not sure?

Coin collecting has a curious name. It is also called the "Hobby of Kings".

saro

it looks very older ?
I would read the date "92x"  ??? and the design reminds me small ottoman silver coins struck by Selim I or Suleyman.

Shirvanshah / aqche of Farrukhsiyar (908-930 AH)
see this one dated 920

At this time the shirvanshah were vassals of the Ottomans (Selim I & Suleyman I) and it isn't surprising that their small silver coins were inspired by the aqches of their overlords.

Good grief, saro, you are a magician. How did you identify this one?

Peter
An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thank you Saro for correcting my reply.

There is no magic...  the date and  ornament reminded me an ottoman aqche, as it doesn't fit with aqches of Selim or Suleyman I, I just went to their neighbouring vassals.. ;)
