Coin collecting has a curious name. It is also called the "Hobby of Kings".

The fold is typical for a coin that has been buried for a very long time. It is possible to undo such a fold, but it requires just the right temperature of the metal, experience and a lot of patience. Evidently, that was not available for this coin. You run the risk that it will break. If this worries you, try reinforcing the crack in the metal with some superglue, but immediately wipe off (not with your fingers!) any glue on the surface of the coin.

Peter
An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thank you for the full identification, Maythem.
Great information about the fold, Peter. The crack is not very deep and I am not worried about the stability of the coin. But I keep in mind the dodge with the superglue.
