Sharing another beautiful Mughal coin.

The coin is better in hand than the photos :). Overall very pleasing surface. 

5.71  Gm. x 20.1 MM

Year AH 1117, RY digits partially visible.

Indeed, it looks grand, with its smooth surface and sharp lettering. Congratulatiions, jaspersaini.

I am intrigued by the small parallel lines on the ends of some of the letters. Can't think of a sound scenario to explain them.

I think the coin was cleaned by a child with something sharp. But overall, the coin is a beauty.
