Cambodia Tical - difference in design
« on: January 27, 2020, 06:38:10 AM »
Hi. I am confused about the denominations and variants since the Krause catalogue says that "size and weight varies" and I would need your help to determine if these 2 coins are actually the same KM, since "short feathers" and "long feathers" might make a difference.
The size and weithgts are:
12 mm, 1.52g
13 mm, 1.59g
These are uniface so I am not attaching the reverse.
Looks like good silver
Thanks

The denomination of these is 1 fuang (1/8 tical). I have these down as KM 32.2: the feather variations are a subvariety of this, not listed by Krause.

The weight and diameter variations are insignificant for hand struck coins, so they are all 32.2.
