Surprisingly, I yet have to come across a Hyderabad struck 5 rupees coin dated 2009 or 2010 (new metal composition). All the nickel brass coins I've got in change so far were Mumbai struck, except one from Kolkata. Haven't seen Noida struck nickel brass coins either. Do they exist?

All mints have the ne metal composition NI-Brass for the year 2009 & 2010. Do you need some 2009 & 2010 Hyderabad mint? I can help... have collected plenty of the min last 2 weeks.

Coin minted by four mint are distributed in different parts of India, I think The Northern India is covered by Noida Mint, Western Part by Mumbai Mint, Eastern Part by Kolkata and Southern By Hyderabad Mint, so the collectors living in one part of the country are not getting coin minted by all the four mints.

Your understanding is correct , Based on RBI distribution locations mints are receiving task  regionally.

Dealers are front runners who usually have access to coins minted at different regions , for example a Dealer in New Delhi would offer coins of all the 4 mints while collectors are struggling ............... ???

Dont worry. I got my one and only 2011 coin a Rs 2 Noida last week in Delhi after I sifted through over Rs 700 in change that my Taxi driver had kept aside for me. I did find some good coins though..... 14 Rs 10 coins, some 2004 Rupees and 5 Rupees, some commemorative coins.... etc.

Same here, haven't received (or even seen) any 2011 dated coin so far. No commemorative coin either, except RBI Pt jubilee Ni-Brass 5 rupees...
