Trinidad and Tobago: Polymer 100 Dollar Banknote Issued

Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago has issued a 100 Dollar note on polymer substrate on December 09, 2019. Other denomination banknotes will be issued on similar polymer substrate by March 2020. The press release by the central bank is here.

I find it interesting that some polymer substrate banknotes don't have or cause problems because of a tropical climate, while others do

DelaRue had troubles with its polymer notes for Sao Tome.

Who makes the ones for T&T (the Canadians perhaps?).

Redlock raises an interesting point. Apparently, polymers are not all the same. Is there a link between failing in the tropics and supplier of the note? Do we even know what the failure is? Note falling apart? Becoming sticky? Discolouring?
