Great fun piece, showing a best attempt to create a credible local coinage as well as loyalty to the king (the Danish East India Company no longer existed at this time). Thinking of the finely decorated Mughal rupees and coppers, I doubt the Indians were impressed or even ready to accept them, unless they had a job in the colony.
