Guys can you help me identify this coin of Mysore , mostly Haider.
Need to know the mint and year plus any reference

Turning the second picture in the right direction, I think I see 1168 at 11 0'clock. That would fit with Haider Ali's reign. I hope that helps.

Nope this is 1198, 1168 would not be Haider as well.

Yes, that could be a 9 also. Why would that not be Haider Ali? Wiki says it would be, but I vaguely remember something about a different dating system. Wasn't that introduced by Tipu, though?

Yes Mauludi era , that was Tipu. Haider Ali did not even rule in 1168, moreover he started minting coins very late in his career.

1198 AH (1784 AD) would make it Tipu. Is that impossible? What is legible on the coin?

Yes 1198 2nd year of his reign, elephant on the observe , 1198 on reverse and the mint name is not very sharp.
