Frustrating. The plant arrangement on the second pic looks so familiar, but I can't find it. Can you reconstruct any of the letters?

The plant looks most like a grapevine and thus likely is not in the correct orientation ?

Sorry, Stef, the fig looks different. TH's suggestion of a grape vine seems good to me. Nevertheless, I searched coin archives and the ANA data base (677 hits, most the same - numbing!) on Judean coins and found nothing like it. Plenty of big bunches of grapes, but no vines. The coin looks Greek, but it doesn't look like silver.

Figleaf, I was not very clear. There is no direct link to the coin. Check for Hendin 643. The full description is:
