Bought an july birthstone coin as a gift to one of my friend's newborn. Its quite nice and size wise is just right. I was thinking whether to buy the pendant chain too; but i doubt anyone would ever wear it.

What stone is it for July? My birthstone is a Garnet for January.
But depending on where you look you will find various stones listed for the months.
Most places I look list Ruby for July.

I looked at the January one, it is a lighter shade of red.
Looks pretty good. It looks similar to a Mandala.

It is indeed a mandala and according to the website, it is inspired by the ancient tradition of Indian mehndi. Quite a pleasant coincidence that the parents happen to be of Indian heritage, so i hope they find it extra nice
