An unusually large collection of opalised dinosaur bones will be the subject of an intensive research and preservation project after being discovered by opal in Lightning Ridge. (Australia)

Unusually large group of opalised fossils from Lightning Ridge to be studied,

Amazing. I had never heard of opalised fossils. As if finding a fossilised dinosaur isn't spectacular enough by itself.
