silver good luck token with tulips & "lalah"/ dated 133(9)
« on: July 11, 2019, 12:00:06 PM »
silver / 17mm
"mubarak bad" / "tulips & "lalah"  at top.
Could be used both for Nowruz or for a marriage ? tulips are a symbol of perfect and undying passionate love, abundance, prosperity, indulgence. "Lalah" = tulips in persian.
the date seems to be 1339 (or 1335 ?)

This one looks silvered also. Now, I also start to see a pattern in the dates, all between 1330 and 1340. Maybe these (silvered) tokens were a temporary fashion?

I made a correction to my initial post : the word at top,  over the tulips, isn't Lal (red) but Lalah ( لالہ or  لاله ) which means "tulips"....
