2 reals 1790 NG

The coin is cut.
Its weight: 5 g.
Can it be cut under later weight standard - peseta's f.e.?

It seems unlikely that officials would have adjusted the weight of a coin in this way. It is far more likely that it was done privately, in order to spend the coin for 2 reales and keep some silver behind (clipping).
