It was billed as the next generation of banknotes – with improved security and top-to-bottom clear windows – but the numbers folk at the Reserve Bank missed one important step in the tech-heavy journey: spellcheck.

It took me a little while to find it. You read what you expect to read, not what it says. Funnily, now, they'll corect it and collectors will favour the faulty spelling.

Now I am wondering if the "which" shouldn't be "that", but you can argue that it's a quote, so it should be as the original, warts and all.

I can't read it again as I get: You've reached your monthly free access limit.  ::)

No the message came up on the newspaper site.

Tv news tonight are making a big thing of it, they say will be worth a fortune.

The usual hype. It's a continuous drone in Britain, where so-called newspapers carry some article like that regularly. They haven't learned from Trump's wild accusations.

Funny - with me, that happens when I need to proofread my own stuff. After all, then I know what I intended to write. When it comes to other people's texts ... of course I will see the missing "I". Errm, I won't. ;D  Anyway, an interesting error!

Apparently that word responsibility appears three times on the note and each time its spelt incorrectly.  ::)
