This coin dated 123x (likely 1239) belongs to last persian issues struck shortly before the 4th Persia-Russia war (1242-1244 AH) ended by the treaty of Turkmenchay after which Persia has lost what are the today Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Even off centered, the mint is still identifiable /  9,4g

Cute, bit clumsy elephant depiction on this one.
When you say the mint is still identifyable i immediately believe you. But for us mere mortals that might have been quite a challenge !

I was happy to find all the readable digits of the date. :)

I have been reading about this time/place. My impression was that there was a great scarcity of coin, as the uncertainty of war led citizens to hoard coins as much as possible. As a result, what circulated was badly worn or fabricated locally and the line between official coins and - to remain polite - civic issues was blurred. This coin looks official, with its nicely designed elephant and date, though.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

It isn't easy too....
I think that it gives (from bottom):" zarb falus Bandar + something at top)??"

Perhaps Bandar Abbas or Bandar Abu Shahr ?

That doesn't look like Bandar Abu shahr or Bandar Abbas... Rasht is also an option, with the "R" at top melted with digits of a date ?
"بندر / bandar " could be  "ست  sht" of "رست  Rasht"  ???

What is the weight ?
