The King and The Queen of New Zealand Coins only One Crown Waitangi 1935 George V and One Florin 1949. Very Rare and Most Valuable. Very Good Investment. Only Private Collectors have.

Hello renos78,

I'd be interested in the source of your belief that an ordinary circulated (and rather well-circulated, for that matter) 1949 florin is in any way rare or desirable.  As I pointed out earlier, this date is 3rd equal in terms of highest mintage figures in the NZ florin series.  They were very common in pocket change as late as the 1970s, as I recall from personal experience.

  The 1935 Crown is definitely a rare coin,whereas,the 1949 Florin isn't.

The 1940 1/2 Crown is a scarce coin as is the 1953-65 1/2 Crowns & the 1963 Florin.

Of course,there is the 2004 5 Cents & 10 Cents,plus the 2005 10 Cents & 50 Cents,which are all scarce coins as well.
