Turkey 5 para 1293 AH with greek counterstamps
« on: April 01, 2019, 11:53:59 PM »
Further to saro's post, I have just the one countermarked 5 para:

Turkey 5 para, 1293 year 4, rev. with crudely countermarked MI/189[6], Thasos, village of Maries, M&L GRK 12/04, 1896

Having one c/s 5 para is pretty good. Mitchiner lists only about a dozen (MWI 1329-1331) and none is on a 5, or even a 10 para.
