It reminds me of Janid coins: I've been through Zeno though and can't find an exact match.

no luck for me either,the problem is lack of readable script as not much is visible where it gives details

A reply on zeno : Janid, Balkh mint, I've compared it to others of Balkh mint on zeno but non have the same layout with dotted square

More info from zeno:
 Jani Muhammad (1007-1009 AD), mint uncertain or NM, ND, AR tanga.

Davidovich 1964, type 4 (p. 13 and phototab. III, No.20).

Regarding the mint name: Davidovich shows ―NM , which means 'no mint', I also don't see 'Balkh' or otherwise
