There was no 20 or 25 ngwee coin.

This was the highest denomination of coin.

The 5 ngwee and 1 kwacha coins were made of nickel-plated steel, whilst the 10 and 50 ngwee coins were made of brass-plated steel.

No new developments, the coins of the current series are being issued with new dates.
