If I have this correctly, the Hubertus-König is a rifle club champion for the year? Google keeps giving me individuals named Hubertus König.

Hubertuskönig: king of the Hubertus-something (Day? Hunt? Shooting? Ride?). The winner of some kind of game related to hunting. The name of the winner seems to be Ali Ferch. See page 6, first column, bottom of page here.

Thank you Peter. It would seem a fairly sound bet that I'm not holding the personal medal of Ali Ferch and so I'll guess that these medals were given to his squad/peloton/Zug? to celebrate his year in office.

I have shooting machine tokens featuring St Hubertus. here

Sankt Hubertus Schiess Automat. 1925 by Jentzsch & Meerz, Leipzig, Germany. [St. Hubert was the patron saint of hunters].

According to Nic Costa (a well known collector of slot machines) the original version was the Sankt Hubertus Schiess Automat. The Running Hare, the British version, and in France, Tir Aux Lapins or L Chasse.

Have a look at  my tokens and my banknotes.
