8,45g / 21-22mm / dark patina
Typical seated Qajar lion facing right; the date which should be at bottom is not visible here (1204 AH?)
I think that among all civic coppers, those of Erivan show the greatest  number of designs varieties : camel, monkey, goat, elephant, lion, hare, partridge, goose, cock, peacock, fish, sunface...

I never thought of the lion as seated, but now you mention it, it just might be. Because of the design variety, would that have a reason or function, year or minttypes for example ?

The seated lion is better seen on this similar one (from Zeno)

Persian copper coins were periodically recalled and revalued with a new design to be easily distinguished from the former coins, but no more often at Erivan than other cities; Erivan was a major persian mint and may be it's the reason why more coins are surviving from there ? Armenia was also on western merchants roads and lots of these low value coins could have been brought back with them and so preserved from melting ?
("low value" at this time, because today these coppers reach incredible prices, if you have a look at eBay for example.... ::) )
