Unadopted Madagascar designs of 1973 by Michael Rizzello

In 1973 the Malagasy Republic - or Madagascar, as it is now known - invited the Royal Mint to prepare designs for a possible new coinage.English artist Michael Rizzello prepared a set of designs in accordance with suggestions by the Malagasy authorities.
