East Caribbean Territories, $10, 1981.

The wedding of Prince Charles and Diana Spencer took place in 1981.

Eric Sewell provided the design for the commemorative collector coin of the East Caribbean Territories.

He added a bird's eye view of the islands to the standard circulation obverse design of the Golden Hind.

Artist Michael Rizzello had previously supplied a design showing the royal couple.

However, it was not liked, so Mr Sewell quickly provided a replacement.

Do you know of any other coin designs by Mr Sewell? Did he ever design any medals for the Royal Mint?

I thought that would be the case, but I have never seen any biographical details about him.
