My 2012 edition of KM quotes exactly the same price. Not a bargain, but not unreasonable either from my point of view. How badly do you want this coin? This was a Latin Monetary Union standard piece, used more for silver speculation than for payments, so you can expect it to be around in reasonable grade and quantity. If you have time, wait for a bargain.

Lots of modern fakes of these exist, if you find one that is low price it could be fake.
always willing to trade modern UK coins for modern coins from elsewhere....
