New Coin Booking: 2009: Hyderabad Mint

Strange to see USD, more so there is no conversion of value. Just change in symbol.

I was able to go through and enter payment details, but then it failed. Does anyone know if foreign credit cards will be accepted? Can one truly pay in dollars? Tata, Tagore and Teresa coins have been added for purchase as well.

Still facing the same issue unable to complete the orders, how about others, this issue same across all Mints.
The new system is crap as I have no idea from  which mint I am buying, earlier it was easy for tracking based on mints.

Is there a better way to track this, any opiniosn.

Few days back I saw 3 FB posts by a dealer who was selling single coin blister packs of Hyderabad mint (if I recollect properly about the mint). They were:

Rs 10: 2017 Shrimad Rajchandra
Rs 10: 2016 200th Birth Anniversary of Tatya Tope
Rs 5: 2016 Deen Dayal Upadhyaya

He handt quoted the price & was asking for PM him to know the price. I was wondering these coins are still not available to order on SPMCIL site, how is he selling them beforehand? How did a dealer get hands on these 3 single coins packs which are still not available for booking? I have seen this in pre-covid days that dealers get hands on retail pieces of UNC/Proof sets before it comes up for booking (first Rs 350 coin in 2019).

They were released on SPMCIL. I myself ordered them. The ₹10 Shrimad Rajchandra coin was opened on Jan 2022 last week got sold out in very few days. Dealers ordered in bulk.

Thats interesting! I do keep an eye on the bookings every now & then, seems I missed it as it might have come for a very short time!

What were the retail prices for these coins & any other new coin came up for booking (Rs 5 or 10)? I was interested in Rs 5 Deen Dayal coin as the other 2 I have them from their original sets of Rs 150+10 & Rs 200+10. Thanks
