Hi,
First idea was Morocco but I didn't find anything similar there.
Valentine has a couple of coins from Turkey page 27 but that doesn't give a match eather... ???
Size: 20mm
Weight: 4.31gr

Dear maudry, this coin is Ottoman Libya, Billion Para minted in Trablusgarb (Tripoli), on the reverse, the Arabic text reads
  ضرب في طرابلس غرب  , Zarb fi Trablusgarb.
The date is not visible; I am not sure about the date, may be it belongs to Sultan Mahmud II AH 1223 (1828-1832 AD).

The one on ebay looks very similar and both attribute it to Mahmud II. Type seems to be undated.
