Coin capsules

(1/1)

coin_lover:
Does storing coins in transparent coin capsules damage the coins in any way

Bimat:
I have seen many collectors storing their coins in capsules and haven't heard of any damage, as far as the plastic quality is good.

If you are buying the capsules, make sure that you get them from a reputed brand.

Any recommendations?

Figleaf:
The capsules are a typically US thing, so look there. Capsules are not automatically airtight, which, in an Indian climate, can mean they can still get wet on the inside, especially in the monsoon season. The capsules should be sealed with an integrated rubber ring to be airtight.
