Nice coin ! why not 1040 for the date ? the punch of the banker is well centered on the last digit and the end of "ilah" !...  :-\   
ry.4 could fit with as well for AH 1040 & 41 and it seems to me that there is a last dot placed similarly like  the 2nd digit (slightly up) ?

Adding one from my collection. My coin also have a banker's mark on the date but at-least the date can be identified as AH1040/RY4

nice coin also, bankers marks can be interesting but not if just drill holes, I notice on my coin that to the right of the drill hole there is what appears to be an 8 /\ but it must be an ornament
