Two Belgian tokens
« on: October 06, 2018, 08:33:34 PM »
Two Belgian tokens, one side in Dutch and the Other in French.
20 Francs 25,5 mm Copper-Nickel
50 Francs 23,0 mm Copper-Nickel
Both are about the size of the equivalnent coin (20 Francs 1980's bronze) and 50 Francs 1980's copper-nickel. As both tokens are the same metal this gives the odd effect that the lower value one is larger than the higher value one. The 50 francs one is slightly thicker than the 20 franc token. A nice aspect is that the 20 franc token has 2 stars ande the 50 franc one 5.

Information about the use of these tokens will be appreciated.

The stars could be useful to the vision impaired.
