A coin from a short-lived ruler in turbulent times. The one constant this coin represents is foreign trade. Surat was the principal port of entry of European ships. No matter how chaotic the times, the ships kept coming, bringing foreign silver that had to be melted and re-coined at the Surat mint. This coin has strong yin and yang. TFS
