Abbasi of Karim Khan / Persia, Zand dynasty
The mint is at bottom of the left picture : "Rasht"
You will find this type if you have a look to the "Iran section" on WoC
"All I know is that I know nothing" (Socrates)

Thanks, that was useful.
I even found the date numerals 1 1 7 7 (١١٧٧) spread between the Persian script on the side telling the mint name. (Don´t know if it´s obverse or reverse).

Dear Arminius, as suggested by Saro there are many coins similar to yours in the Iran section, and the date " AH 1177 ۱۱۷۷ " is correct at 3 O'clock on the obverse (first photo) of your coin.

Coin collecting has a curious name. It is also called the "Hobby of Kings".

So that must be the side showing the ruler´s name?

(Browsing all the discussed coins here and on zeno did not provide this kind of info.)
