Not surprised by our Digital India govt who choose to pass on these charges to us, whereas private companies bear it from their own pockets!

Dear friends

SPMCIL + India Post are issuing a combined numismatic + philatelic pack consisting of one Rs 550 coin + First Day Cover having 5 stamps + Miniature Sheet  on Guru Nanak.

This will be second combo pack after a similar pack issued on 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

After the long wait and many followups (no reply to any emails), today I received my order from India Post. But was surprised to see that there is no postage stamps containing 1 Miniature sheet having 5 postage stamps, 1 cancelled FDC and 1 Brochure.. I received only the coin and booklet  Felt cheated!

Finally received the Coin after a long delay. 

For a change, the Kolkatta Mint has used a magnetic latch on the coin folder. Have to see how long will it hold before the sticker falls off......
