Bijapur Sultanate, Ibrahim Adil Shah II, AH 988-1037 / AD 1580 - 1627, Copper Falus, 11.20g, GG BJ - 15A

Obv: Ibrahim Abla Bali (Ibrahim 'Defender of the Weak')

Rev: Ghulam-e-Murtaza Ali (Servant of the Chosen One 'Ali' )

Superb calligraphy style on the coin with a very unique invocation on the Obv. The reign comes slam bang in the middle of his Mughal contemporary Akbar and ends with the end of Jahangir's reign.

This coin type is not easy to come by in any condition leave aside nice full flan ones so lucky to have got this today! Pic is taken holding coin on my finger tip!

Thanks to a Woc member who helped organize this coin!!

Beautiful & well centred, I have an example of this coin but the flan does not show the whole dies as does this one

However you have given the wrong ref Mitresh, BJ12 is the first series, this one is BJ15A second series which are more ornamental
