That's an ingenious way of looking at it. However, computer compositions do not need to be simplistic these days. We have moved on since the time of those Microsoft GIFs that people of a certain age remember. Other more sophisticated elements can now be incorporated. Here is an example.
One minor point here -- the GIF was CompuServe's fault, not Microsoft's.  :)

Fair enough. But Microsoft chose to use it for thousands of its little icons and avatars.

So, the original sets of the Netherlands and the Vatican each received two votes. A tie - but the sets in this poll were not among the most interesting of the euro zone.
