Hi,
I'm not sure in which period this one belongs.
Size: 28mm
Weight: 3.92gr

Figleaf

By style, it would be late Mongol, my gues would be Ilkhans or perhaps Jagataids. The weight fits with the doube dirhams of Öljaitü (703-717AH). I can't make the legend fit, though.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thank you Peter,
I was also considering the late Mongols, especially as it was part of a large lot of mostly Ilkhans and Safavids.
But this one is different form the rest of the lot.

THCoins

My first thought was Karts of Herat. They have some coins with a similar style. However, the calligraphy is a bit messy. Could it be a contemporary imitation ?
