Unknown Indian coin #6
« on: July 15, 2018, 03:32:08 PM »
I don't actually have this coin in my possession, but I'm helping a friend with it. He has told me that it weighs about 3 grams, and the diameter is probably around 10-12 mm but he doesn't have a ruler. I attached a photo he provided next to a British 5 pence (18 mm diameter) for scale.

I wonder if this could be a weight.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.

Thanks, I do think it is South India as well because of the style of design.
