Qajar, Nasir al-Din Shah, Qiran - Meshad mint

Date seems to be eather off flan or on the flat part of the coin.
Result is the same though. It can not be determined.
Size: 19mm
Weight: 4.86gr

I have two coins with this type, dated 1278 and 1279, and I think your piece is from Meshad, as mine below.

Dear maudry, for this type of coin the date should be below the word "zarb ضرب" of the first photo and it will be either 1277 or 1278 AH. I agree with Alan that the mint place "Mashhad Muqaddas مشهد مقدس" meaning Holy Mashhad.

So the year is indeed completely off flan.
But it remains a nice coin to me.
