This  cast coin bears the date AH 1224 for Mahmud II,  the only ref I have is Valentine, I think the mint is Trablusgarb (Tripoli)

Quite interesting both. Unhindered by knowledge beyond KM, I note that your more recent post looks like a contemporary sand cast. With this technique, the image is drawn in the mould with a pointed stick. The result is sharp, but often thinnish lines that are unconnected or crossing, unlike the lines sunk in metal, as on the coin above. The technique is labour intensive, as the mould can be used only once, so I can't imagine it being used in a mint.

Yes, the second coin appears to be a cruder version of the other one, so crude that the date is illegible.  The first one has a lovely colour that looks like Bronze although they are listed as billon I expect various metals went into the mix
