Two East Hebei coins
« on: June 30, 2018, 09:56:24 PM »
Gentlemen.

I've got two East Hebei (Hopei) coins.

1. 5 Fen 26 (1937), Y# 518
Weight, g: 3,1
Size, mm: 19

2. 1 Fen 26 (1937), Y# 517, Chi Tung Bank
Weight, g: 4.9
Size, mm: 23

In both cases, the weight is a bit different from the catalog value (1 - Weight should be 3.40 g, 2 - 5.6 g).

Modern fakes?

Best regards,
Alexander

Sorry, did not get you. You think that they are real?

They look real, but I do not have any info that weight for these coins might vary.
