Hello,

I am in Dusseldorf on an official tour for a couple of weeks, could someone guide me where I can buy coins in the city without paying heavy amount.
How i can i get some newer commemorative sets as well.

Thanks in advance!

You could try Stuckert, in the old town (Akademiestraße 5), and also Ritter, near the main station (Immermannstraße 19). There are a few other dealers, Kurzbach, Winter, etc., but they do not have "walk-in" stores ...

By the way, if you will stay in Düsseldorf for a few weeks, you might as well visit Cologne. In that city there are two more brick & mortar coin stores that I know of. But of course these days there are not that many walk-in stores any more, for both convenience and security reasons ...

Kroha, Cologne, Neven-Du Mont-Straße 15 (U: Appellhofplatz)

Knopek, Cologne, Alter Markt 55 (U: Rathaus)

Stuckert, Düsseldorf, Akademiestraße 5 (U: Heinrich-Heine-Allee)

Ritter, Düsseldorf, Immermannstraße 19 (U: Oststraße)

(The "U" refers to the closest subway/underground station.) Have a great stay, and good luck with finding neat coins!

I second the recommendation of Kroha. Not cheap, but very nice stuff.
