Medieval French coins stolen from museum
« on: April 16, 2018, 12:05:33 PM »
Just received the following information (my translation) from Joel Cornu at CGB in Paris:

The Dobrée museum in Nantes has just been robbed. A large amount of medieval gold coins were stolen.

A detailed list can be accessed by clicking on this pdf.

This information must be disseminated, communicated and shared as widely as possible.

Cornu and CGB deserve credit for using their computer space and client network to make the lives of the thieves as difficult as possible.

An unidentified coin is a piece of metal. An identified coin is a piece of history.
