Cayman Islands, $5, 1985.  The 250th Anniversary of the Royal Land Grant, issued by the Crown of the Islands.

The Letter of Patent granted by King George II was officially enrolled on March 9th 1735. It is the first known documented evidence of plans for permanent settlement of the Islands. This coin design includes a symbolic ship, so I have placed it in this topic.
