I don't think the GST council has reduced the GST on commemorative coins to NIL per se.

Govt has reduced to zero GST charged only on circulation and commemorative coins sold by SPMCIL to Ministry of Finance.

So tax reduction is only for the coins purchased by the Ministry of finance and to there may not be any tax relief for ordinary collectors.

In fact Govt has saved itself hassle of paying tax on goods purchased by itself.

I received my PC Mahalabonis proof set few days back

Sales going in FB for 150-200 rs per coin, but couldnt see it in Circulation.
